Dear Readers,
RNTQ has been around now in this current incarnation since May of 2024, which means it’s recently passed its first birthday on Substack. It’s also the 9th year since I started it, back in Ye Olden Days, on Twitter and Facebook.
Having hit that year of doing RNTQ on Substack, I’m pondering how I want to do RNTQ going forward. As part of that process I’m hoping to get a better picture of what y’all like, dislike, want more of, want less of, et forth and so cetera so I can fold that into my thinking. Hence this poll!
Here’s your incentive!! ’ll be selecting 3 people at random out of those who answer the poll and comping your subscription for 6 months: if you’re a free subscriber I’ll comp you to a paid version for 6 months, if you’re already a paid subscriber I’ll let you give that 6 month paid subscription to anyone you like.
Feel free to leave a comment as well as answering the questions below, or in addition. If you use the Substack app, you can leave me a message in the Chat, too. If you get this via email and hit “reply,” the email will come to me.
However you’d like to be in touch, I welcome it, and I thank each and every one of you for being here and reading. Writing RNTQ is truly one of my reasons not to quit and I really do mean it when I say together we keep going.
Thanks so much!
Hanne
Your short RNTQ seem to hit me right when I need them. That could be as soon as they come out or when I happen upon them in my email. I always appreciate them. I love your longer content as it's beautifully written but also insightful. I just don't always have time to read something longer with intention and focus, so I tend to put them aside to get to them later. Same with the videos. I value all of it. I wish I could be a paid subscriber so I could take advantage of everything, and I wish I had more time to really let everything soak in as it's coming. (In other words, whatever I don't read, it's not for lack of interest but lack of time or attention span.) I love what you're doing.
I'm not a person who watches a lot of videos or listens to podcasts, but if that's what is currently working for you, I'll make an effort.
Particularly if transcripts are provided for when I can't manage audio.
